UPDATE: Police ask for public's helpBAYONNE - A fetus was found floating in a pump station located at the southern end of the city Tuesday afternoon, officials said. Suez workers at the Oak Street building were screening waste water as it came through the facility sometime around 2 p.m. when they made the discovery, Suez spokeswoman Madeline Power saidWhile performing "routine work" the employees noticed what appeared to be a fetus come over the bar screens. Police were immediately called to the scene to investigate, she said. The company said it is cooperative fully with the investigation and normal operations are expected to resume again Wednesday. The Hudson County Prosecutor's Office was notified of the incident, though it was not immediately clear which agency is leading the investigation.
