AdvertisementVolunteers from the International WeLoveU organization cleaned up Bingham Park after learning of litter in the area.About 20 people picked up trash at the park and along nearby Brownsboro Road.Their efforts are part of the group's Clean WORLD initiative, which promotes the importance of a healthy environment and giving back."If you look at the world today, there's a lot of difficult things happening, and sometimes a lot of people feel down," volunteer Michael Haniszewski said. "But through the International WeLoveU Foundation, we are starting to spark love and unity among our community."The group began cleaning up around 9:30 a.m. Sunday. (WLKY Louisville)
