The rigid plastics, those will be taken to a recycling center. The yard waste that is separated from trash will be composted," Heather Burke of the Department of Public Works said. The cleanup day runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Appliances, electronics, car parts, and hazardous waste will not be accepted. Denver isn't the only one getting in on the spring cleaning fever.
